Last but not least, everything was far beyond their imagination. On one hand, Simon ran out of gas for melting the snow for drinking water. On the other hand, Joe tried his very best to climb up from the crevice. After that, he found some water to save himself. They did not give up and they could go back to the base camp eventually.

HW#2

               Learning English
My first experience learning English was fun. When I was a three years old girl, I started learning English. My first time for learning English was at kindergarten. First of all, I still remembered that I learnt 24 alphabet in my first English class at school. It was a really fun and interesting experience.  Teachers taught us to write the alphabet. As you know, all the alphabet are formed by curved and straight lines. It was difficult for me to write in a tidy and neat way. Luckily, my parents spent near a whole day and accompanied with me for my homework. In addition, teachers taught us to sing the alphabet song. I used to sing all the time when I was a child. I was quite excited when I first sang this song. My teachers told us to hold our classmates’ hands and sang together. I was the one who sang with the loudest voice. Moreover, I sang this song to my parents after they picked me up from school to home. Last but not least, my parents bought us a lot of DVDs for me to learn English. Those DVDs were all learning tools for kids. I loved Disney characters    when I was small. They bought me lots of Disney DVDs and they taught children simple English and made children familiarize with it. I loved that program very much and I was exciting when I watched them. To sum it up, learning English is fun and you will become a life learner for learning English. No matter it is vocabulary, grammar or pronunciation, English is useful to your life.(232 words )
